What I Sent My Nephew
A practice pad and percussion mallets — yarn, rubber, hard plastic — with a pair of drumsticks.
My nephew is starting percussion!
Rounded up a bundle of things from the depth of my gear cage: a practice pad, a fistful of mallets, and of course some sticks.
Really excited for him to start this journey. Hope it brings him a fraction of the joy that it has brought me in my lifetime.
Perhaps I should have also included some knitting needles, a chopstick, maybe a comb?
