Boulez’ Le Marteau sans maître at the University of Kentucky for their International Guitar Series, conducted by Tim Weiss of Oberlin.

It is one of the pieces every percussionist hears about long before they play it, and playing it is mostly an exercise in accuracy under conditions that make accuracy hard: a small ensemble, no doubling to hide behind, and a rhythmic surface that does not repeat enough for the ear to help you.
