Big Ears with Sō Percussion

This week I’m back at the Big Ears Festival for two performances that sit at pretty different ends of what I do.

I’m joining Sō Percussion for Julius Eastman’s Stay On It at the Greyhound Bus Terminal — a venue the festival opens up just for this. It’s a fitting room for a piece built to stay open-ended.

Later in the week I’m back with the ensemble behind our 2014 Drumming for a revival at The Mill & Mine. Reich’s piece has a way of getting clearer every time you return to it.
